Having a basic understanding on how to navigate the internet can really help you in some of your daily activities. It helps to keep families in touch, food on the table, and people learning.
If you’re new to the internet- you are not alone! With a little support, you’ll be a tech-whizz in no time.

Got a bit stuck?
Call the over 50s helpline. It can be scary to learn something new. If you’ve viewed our digital skills webpage and still need some help getting online or using your device, then that’s ok. Call Hackney’s helpline for some friendly support: 020 3383 0111 on Tuesdays 10am – 3pm.
Get a digital buddy
They can connect you to a trained young person through the Digital Buddy programme. They will support you to learn new skills or help with any tech issues they may be having.
