Hackney Giving small grants programme is open for applications

Hackney Giving will offer grants of up to £3,000 to small not-for-profit organisations in Hackney which are responding to community needs as the coronavirus restrictions reduce in summer 2021.

They are keen to fund projects supporting a wide range of communities and age groups across Hackney.

As part of an ongoing strategy to make Hackney a fairer place, Hackney Giving particularly welcomes applications for projects which tackle ongoing health and social inequalities, challenge racism and empower women, disabled people and LGBTQ+ communities.

Funding is available for projects which:
• make a positive difference to people’s wellbeing
• reduce isolation and loneliness
• help people living with mental health issues

The deadline for applications is 27 May 2021, at 11am.
