Connect Hackney

Co-production Week 2021

National Co-production Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of co-production, share good practice and promote the contribution of people who use services and carers in developing better public services.

Co-production is about working in equal partnership with people using services, carers, families and citizens. Co-production offers the chance to transform social care and health provision to a model that offers people real choice and control.

Online resources

Connect Hackney has produced a report on Co-production with older people. The recommendations come from older people and staff from the Connect Hackney programme which works with socially isolated older people in Hackney. Our learning is drawn from the experiences of older people involved in the co-production of the programme including formal evidence gathered through the evaluation of Connect Hackney by the University of East London.
