The Hackney Senior Magazine June 2020 edition is due to be printed and is usually posted to organisations who provide services to older people as well as to Hackney residents home addresses.

Hackney Senior is a magazine by older people, for older people in Hackney and there will be a further three editions this year.

The current and future editions contain lots of  useful phone numbers and information on food deliveries, mental health support, helpline phone numbers, chair based exercises and other Hackney based info & services. 

Connect Hackney is able to still deliver to individuals and care homes. Given the current covid pandemic we are aware most centres and offices are closed.

However we are aware that some medical offices, food banks,  centres and places of worship  are open in a limited way.

Could you help distribute Hackney Senior magazine to older residents  – perhaps with existing deliveries you make of food parcels or medicines?

Or maybe you have a stock in your centre for people to collect?  It might be that you know older residents who you think would like to receive Hackney Senior direct to their home.
