Write up memory lane
By Ngoma Bishop
I am collating research material for a book i am writing entitled ‘Write up Memory Lane’.
Did you or anyone you know come to the uk from the Caribbean or Guyana between 1950 and 1970 to join parents that travelled as part of the Windrush generation in search of better opportunities and quality of life?
If so, were you introduced to siblings born since your parents left your home but prior to your arrival?
What impact or effect did the relocation and cultural shift have on you?
What if any challenges did you face with regards to your relationships with your siblings and parents?
If any of the above applies to you and you would like to share your experiences, please contact me by email.
