Dr Sandra Husbands answers vaccine questions in Hackney Citizen

Dr Sandra Husbands answers the most common questions around Covid-19 vaccines in an article published in Hackney Citizen.

She says: “The vaccine will reduce the chance of you becoming seriously ill from Covid-19, which can be deadly, particularly if you’re in a high clinical risk group. The fact is the approved Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Although they were developed in record time, this is because of world-wide collaboration and investment.”

Information on vaccines in community languages

NHS doctors, nurses and other frontline staff have come forward to help reassure communities that Covid-19 vaccines are safe, effective and have been independently tested to the highest standards. They explain how the vaccine is given and give clear evidence that the vaccines work safely. Read more on the NHS website.
