Connect Hackney

Connect Hackney is holding information sessions and workshops for organisations that are considering submitting a bid as part of our new commissioning round

We are approaching the halfway stage of our six-year programme to tackle social isolation among older people, with £1.3m to allocate to projects and activities over the next three years. We have just issued an invitation to tender for work with two key groups:

• older men
• older people with learning disabilities

You can find details of the tender process and documentation here.

We are inviting all prospective bidders to important pre-commissioning workshops, where we will outline what we have learned from the programme so far, the specifications for the new commissioning round and how the bidding process and assessment of bids will work. The aim is to support all our potential future delivery partners in the best way we can.

Please register for one of our three workshops – click the link on your preferred date:

Wednesday January 31 10.30am – 12.30pm, Halkevi Community Centre, 33 Dalston Lane, E8 2PE

We will also be releasing information over the next two months about further commissioning opportunities, including tenders for “community connectors” and work on digital inclusion, along with opportunities for Connect Hackney to support small locality-based projects.
